The cat has been having some issues with scabs on his neck and scratching, hes 13 and has been on a fish oil for a while now (welactin) but thinking about changing. They are not as clear about whats in the product and its very fishy. This company has a product which ive seen some people review on here and have been considering it. I understand allergies can be plenty of things as im also looking into different food but want to try a different fish oil. While Im placing an order thinking about trying the wild cod and potato diet too. Has anyone bought from them before? Thank you.

A senior cat really, really needs wet food in their diet. I'd encourage you to put your cat on 100% wet food, but if you insist on feeding dry too make sure it's higher quality dry. Cats are obligate carnivores, so you want food with as little veggies, corn, wheat, and other weird things that aren't meat as possible.

Fish oil is great for cats, but there are a lot of really low quality fish oils out there. I use a human salmon oil supplement. I've heard that Nordic Naturals is decent.

thank you for the response and he does eat wet food, I even ad water to his food as well. I just also feed him dry food. Not that much though. I will however look into a more meaty dry food.
