So I'm feeling kind of bad for one of our recently released ferals.

It was 50 degrees + when we released them the other day - still shaved from surgery. Today it's 30 degrees.

They're hiding under a porch somewhere, I'm sure, but it can't be too comfortable. I hope there's no frostbite.

At least it's the fluffies...they tend to huddle together.

Scott if you have access to straw or hay, take a bunch and stuff it under the porch so they can at least get off the cold ground, even blocking the entrance with a pile of straw (loose not packed) will work because they can always burrow out of it to escape.

Good idea...

I would do that, but they go from place to place around here...(not my porch...we're in an apartment complex). There are various old Victorian-style houses here that have open areas under the porch. There is one general area that they stay in...I'll go and see if I can locate them...but generally, they hide in different places.
