Years ago when my ex boyfriend was moving out he had a friend helping him. Well my kitty could not grasp why they were taking stuff out of her house. She ran and bit his friend on his leg all while sinking her claws in. He was shaking his leg yelling get her off.

One time I fell asleep and woke up with Jazz sitting on my face. That was delightful.:doh3:

Nearly thirty years ago, we had a woman who lived across the road from us who was…let's say, a little on the dim side at times. Her surname was Dafter; couldn't have better suited her! :D

Anyway, although she had nothing against cats, she could make the most inane remarks. One afternoon, she commented to my father regarding one of our cats: ‘He looks like a big poof!’

A couple of days later, she told us that, on the same evening, they were having a barbecue at her place, when, out of nowhere, our cat came flying across the road, raced up to her in their front yard, bit her on the leg, looked straight up at her, then raced back home again! Obviously, he was extremely offended by what she'd said, and thought it highly uncalled-for. :D

Rasp was a huge, ginger bundle of constant play, mischief and purr. I could imagine him laughing his furry head off at what he'd done, particularly since I'd bet she'd have shrieked at the top of her lungs; she wasn't exactly quiet! :)

My older daughter and her husband were staying with me over Christmas one year and he gave her a very nice easel for her painting.  He was so proud of it that he was beaming from ear to ear and she was so thrilled to have it that she was bubbling over with happiness.    They set it up and we were sitting around admiring it and oohing and aahing when my late cat Milo walked up to it, turned around and began waving his rear end and giving it a thorough spraying.  We were all so stunned that he had completed his mission by the time we came to our senses and let him know this was not acceptable behavior.  I suspect he knew that which is why he did it in the first place!

My one cat plays with himself (if you know what I mean) in front of people.

It's like get a room!
My otherwise cute 8mos old kitten,Fi,does it.by his paws!

He was just fixed, and it caused problem because he tried to play with himself (well...)and nearby surgery scar despite he is wearing cone.

I can't tell Fixing cause less this kind of playing yet. It's really awkward.

This is why I'm glad I got Bud neutered before he reached sexual maturity. He doesn't "play with himself" or do anything like that. Of course I recognize the necessity of spaying and neutering, but I do feel bad sometimes. Fortunately I don't think he understands the difference, and when I brought him to get neutered I bought the most expensive pain med package they had and made sure he got his pain meds at regular intervals.

I think the most traumatic part of it, for him, was actually being there and being in the care of strange people. When I picked him up from the SPCA a few hours later ("low cost" neutering at the SPCA was like $200 +), he was hissing while in his carrier. Boy was he happy to see me.

I love that name, Dafter. I'm going to borrow that for a character's name in a short story!

Russell, my 10 year old feral tom, has never been picked up but does let us stroke his head. I was sitting there at the picnic table reading a magazine and he came up, turned around, and sprayed all over my legs! All I could do was yell, and that didn't faze him a bit! Now I make sure his 'business' end is pointed away from me.
One time I was sitting on the deck steps and smoking ( I never smoked in the house because of the cats). I felt something hit my back and I turned around and there was my neighbors cat doing his little dance. Another time I was scraping food out of a can for the ferals and he got me again. All over my hands.

When I got my Buddy fixed he was feral and 9 months old. I don't know if he reached sexual maturity but he always "played with himself" all his life. After I got him fixed I was able to tame him and brought him inside.

I took him to a low cost spray and neuter clinic for feral cats in DC. He was scared to death because of all the people there and the cats. This was 20 years ago and they only charged $35.00 for a spray and $20.00 for a neuter and a dollar for his rabies and distemper shots. The last time I checked about 10 years ago they were charging $100.00 for a spray or neuter. I don't know what they charge now but I need to find out as I have a new group of ferals I'm feeding. Back then I had 22 cats in my colony and I managed to get every one of them fixed. I was so proud of myself but now I have to start over again with 4 cats.

We got Theo neutered as soon as the clinic would do and pretty sure it was before sexual maturity... we had him since birth and i think he  was fixed at 3 months.  When he was younger he was always playing with it... and now that is almost two, it has slowed, but definitely not stopped.  The other night his mother, who is also spayed now, was sleeping on my bed and I wake up to this frantic meowing and I open my eyes to see Theo all up on her back biting first one side of her neck and then the other... it was sort of comical because he looked like he was riding a pony meaning his genitals were not down by her genitals, but rather he was sitting in the middle of her back... he is such a poop sometimes.  Bcups was trying to roll over and knock him off.. and she finally did.  That was RUDE.

Tatiana is my Ragdoll and she always has to wake me up very early to see if it is treat time, or if she can go out on the balcony, or just to see how my day is going.  My daughter goes to work at 4:00 am and Tati just can't handle that I am still asleep when other people have gone off and started there day.  Well one day we were talking about Tati and my daughter was complaining that she just isn't affectionate... which she is, just in her own way, but in talking about I realized that I can never get her to blink back at me, and she doesn't pur.  So we were talking about her not purring and that night Tati jumps in bed with me and I start petting her and she starts purring.  She is smart... its like she was proving, see I CAN purr, you just don't amuse me enough to make me do it often.  Sly kitty. Well anyway, a couple days later Tati decides to wake me at 4:00 and I am bargaining with her, No Tati, its not time, Please Tati, just 30 more minutes,  Go away Tati, and she is having none of it so I am thinking about the whole purring thing and I cuddle Tati up in my arms and I "purr" at her  and she immediately jumps out of my arms, bites me (really hard, but no blood) right on the tip of my nose and then runs out of my room.  On the plus side, I did get another hour of sleep... but that was very rude.

Puffy always sneezes in my face and we are not taking about a cute little Achoo, but rather one of those big sloppy wet ones, but she is chronic sinus cat so that's more unfortunate than rude.

They all spy on my in the bathroom, my dogs always did too... but Tati cannot help herself but as soon as you get up from the toilet she has to jump up and see what you did before you have a chance to flush.  She will race me into the bathroom too so she can sit in her litter box while I sit on my throne.... and most of the time, she doesn't even have to go, she just pretends.  I thought this little lady would be easy to toilet train as fascinated as she is with it, but so far no luck.

I'm not sure if this is your definition of rude but it's embarrassing to me, so here it goes:

When I was about 21 and living with my 1st boyfriend we had a kitten called, Strawberry.  She, like many curious cats, liked to supervise litter changing and alway barged in to use it mid scoop.  So I sat back and waited for her to finish.  Then, I noticed something poking out of her bum, something that definitely didn't look right.  Not quite knowing how to proceed, I got some paper towels and pulled it out.  To my surprise and horror, I pulled out a long latex tube: a condom!  Needless to say, we were more careful after that.

Mostly, my cat is the refined lady that you'd expect from a pedigreed Siamese (well except for the yowlign when you close a door to them, which she participates in), complete with the dainty way that she licks her paws after eating, but she's recently learned a new word (she knows a couple, which is why I say that she is the African Grey parrot that I've always half wanted) , and, like most cats who learn to meow a few words, one of her first words has, indeed been, "No!"

She'll use it to answer questions to my housemate, mostly. Emma:  "Freya, do you want to come down from my computer desk?"  Freya: "No!"

Fortuantely the other word that she's learned is quite adorable and endearing.  She knows the word "hell-lo", which she uses in place of the usual kitty greeting trill, often meowing it to me in greeting when I come home,  and *ALSO* she'll use it to call out to find us sometimes "Hello?" "hello?"
