My boy had something similar and it turned out to be an abscess. Because it was on the abdomen and near fat it was at greater risk of spreading and infection.

It could be related to pregnancy or nursing if she is either.

Best bet is the vet to see what is going on. It looks red and inflamed which is usually a sign of infection. According to my vet, infection in that area can spread quickly through the abdomen fat and fat dies quicker causing all kinds of complications if not treated aggressively.

I think you should get her to a vet as soon as possible.

With my boy it was a bite wound that went all around the area. The actual punctures were small and had closed up well, we didn't see them until the whole area was shaved despite looking and they formed a full circle around it (vet guesses raccoon got him, my boy is a little protective of his sister and I could see him taking one on it she yelled and he is now in when it is dark to prevent a rematch). It was in the exact same area and because of where the punctures had ended the infection start deep in the middle of the area instead of puncture sites themselves. Obviously, if your girl doesn't go outside it isn't the same cause but an accidental scratch from another cat in the home or even something in the environment can get infected easily because of how quickly cats skin heals from cuts (seals in the bacteria)..... Or a reaction to some sort of insect bite or a live plant in the house....

If you can't get her in today, you can try putting a warm wet cloth against it to encourage draining in case it is some type of wound caused abscess. That would probably feel good for her regardless of what it is. If you do notice a wound you'll want to clean it but I would still go in with its location to prevent complications. If I am right, with treatment it should clear up within a week and your girl will be much happier very quickly once she gets it drained and some antibiotics.

Usually once the vet shaves the area they can get a much better idea of whats going on. I also had one recently where he had hair loss and no redness. When they shaved the spot a bunch of dead skin came off (spider bite) that wasn't noticeable through the hair.... yeah, my boy is accident prone

Hopefully it all works out. Let us know how it goes.
