I'm treating 3 kittens with ringworm.

they're responding well to treatment so far.  Have read your posts on care, cleaning, etc.  I have a separate room set up for the kittens and vacuum regularly.  In between I'm using the Swiffer on floors.  Didn't realize I could use it elsewhere,  I'll start doing so right away.  My concern  right now is with the vacuum cleaner.  It has the filters for allergies, etc.  I've been using one set of filters for the room, then changing them to another set for the rest of the

house.  Is this necessary?  I don't want to take chances as I have other cats.  Has anyone heard of using apple cider vinegar to treat the infestation?  If so how would you go about using it on cats?  My daughter is a horse person & they use it to treat horses for ringworm,  But a horse is a much bigger animal & neither one of us has any idea of how to go about it.  I thought that if I could use this it might be easier on the cats than the sulfer dip that I got from the vet.  any info will be appreciated.

Everyone has a different approach to RW but i think most people over react.  I treat the cats, and don't clean anything and i've never had an issue.  Yes in a shelter we have protocols, and they're needed there but in a home it just isn't as big a deal, usually.

I wouldn't change from the lime sulpher dip. It's a proven "cure" for ringworm, whereas the Apple Cider vinegar is like an old wives tale and might or might not do the trick.  You don't want to have to start over again, do you?
