Have a 13- year old cat who refuses to eat canned cat food . She has developed constipstion and is currently on cisapride ( laxative) and Hill's prescription diet urinary care c/d which she eats sparingly . The only soft food she will eat is baby food which does not provide her with the requisite vitamins . I'm looking for recommendations for any soft chew multi-vitamins I can give her . I ordered two brands at random but she refused to eat them probably because they were too hard . She does like Greenies so if anyone has any suggestions for a multi-vitamin with similar consistency I'd appreciate hearing from you . Thanks

That doesn't exist. You can't give her a vitamin and feed baby food, which isn't complete. When was the last time she had a work up at the vet? Her appetite issues could be related to a medical issue, so you need to have her checked out. If she doesn't Like the C/D food (which is garbage, IMO) try a better wet food. There are so many on the market. Weruva is a really good one for older cats. Your vet could also prescribe something for nausea or an appetite stimulant.

Kibbles then? add warm water to kibbles to soften I would not feed dry kibbles. Chicken broth (if purchased no salt)

make sure lots fluids are available. They love home cooked turkey/chicken. Had cats that refused Vet moist brands.

Are her teeth OK?

Going off the wet food train, the new Tiki Cat Velvet Mousse line is supposed to be great for older cats who need soft-textured food. It's not a firm as a pate so if she's rejecting the other wet food for texture reasons it might be worth giving it a shot.
