I remember a while ago there was a thread about Petco and people weren't happy that they wouldn't price match and that their in-store prices were higher than online prices.  I just emailed them though, and they said they would honor their online prices in-store if you take a screen-shot of the online pricing of each item you wanted, including food. (although I assume that it doesn't include bulk can pricing) but its still better than paying extra for other stuff!  I know their higher quality dry food in-store is usually like $3-4 dollars more per bag so it will help greatly with that.

That is interesting. I wonder if all stores would actually honor it. I asked months ago at my local store and was told they couldn't do it, even if I showed them on my phone(like PetSmart will). I'll definitely ask again. My cats are in love with the Applaws chicken goji treats & they're significantly cheaper on their website.

You could do what I did and take a screen shot of the customer service person online telling you that they would honor it.
