Can you post photos of them? Is mom 100% inside with the kittens?

The risk is, there is some fault here.  As kittens nor small children are seldom "lazy".   Exactly how old are they?  Please try and describe more...

And hopefully, this fault is something easy to help.

I don't know that that's true. Are they gaining weight every day? Can you weigh them?

And do you mean that you are letting mom outside?

It's a surgery that the vet would do. They take out her reproductive organs so so she can't get pregnant or go into heat anymore. It's important for her health that she not have litter after litter. It also reduces the risk of reproductive cancer and removes the risk of pyometria. An intact cat who goes outside can have three or four litters a year. It will shorten her life, and it's obviously a problem for all the kittens without somewhere to go.

I would get her spayed either way.. especially if she is producing unhealthy kittens. It's not good for her or the kittens...

What country are you in?

Because you are risking her health, and the health of the kittens, and allowing her agitation and pain.  There may have not been a male around, or there may be something wrong with her.  Regardless, heat cycles are not healthy for her, and neither are repeat pregnancies, labors, and births.
