My new cat was lying on my bed asleep, kind of on her back curled up with her head back (her preferred sleeping position). I noticed her twitching a bit which I didn't think much of since she seems to twitch when she's dreaming sometimes. But then I noticed her making a choking sound so I scooped her up and placed her standing up on the floor. She continued making the sound for a minute and then swallowed and seemed fine. Maybe it was a hairball? I've never seen this happen to a cat in their sleep before though. Should I be worried?

Honestly I wouldn't be but i would monitor it and look for symptoms while she is awake.
