Hi all!

I just joined yesterday for some advice and have found myself quite hooked with this lovely little community, so I thought I'd introduce us and our two babies!

Vin and I live in Norway and have recently homed two lovely, sweet little kittens. We are so incredibly in love and they are the apples of our eyes!

Queen Elizabeth is a beautiful white bellied tabby who is now 15 weeks old. She's been incredibly affectionate and trusting since the day we got her, and has the most perfect little personality. She's playful, cheeky and sleeps in the most beautiful positions.

She has the biggest ears and adorable crinkly little whiskers, multi-coloured pads and a pink nose, and is a mixture of black, white, ashy brown, grey and these most precious champagne coloured parts. She's got these little black markings above her eyes which look just like little pointy eyebrows. It's precious.

She loves 'Mr.Mouse', treats and sleeping under the duvet between us.

Prince Phillip is a handsome little grey and white kitty, who is 13 weeks. He's a bit calmer, and was initially quite timid but he's getting much more affectionate now! His mother was long haired and he's got the fluffiest, softest coat and the most adorable little white tip on his solid grey tail.

He's still not completely comfortable with us, as he's only been here for two days, but will now come to us for cuddles and sleeps on our laps. He's become very adventurous and his favourite thing seems to be knocking things over.

We're so excited to have these two sweet little monsters in our lives, and they are both so, so loved.

So 'Hello' from Queen Elizabeth and Prince Phillip!

Welcome to TCS Scarletteia and to the royal highnesses Queen Elizabeth and Prince Phillip :wavey:

Glad you found this site. There are many interesting articles and forum threads, do browse around and if you have any questions about cats and their well being, feel free to ask.

From what I see from the photos, Queen Elizabeth is a DSH Spotted Tabby with white and Prince Phillip is a DSH Classic (Marbled) Tabby. But if you have better side and top views of them would make identification easier.

Both of them are beautiful!

Thank you so much TabbyTom! That's super interesting to know!

This is the best I could do for back pictures -  Phillip is a little ball of energy at the minute so didn't want to sit still.

He's got extremely muted markings as shown in the picture, they seem to blend out a lot! He also seems to have two 'layers' of fur, where as Elizabeth only has the one, if that makes any difference! She's very smooth and shiny, and he's got soft, dense fur with a almost waxy longer layer on top, like a very, very short haired version of what my Persian had. He also has the white belly that Elizabeth has, but nowhere near as much. White paws, and the white tail tip too, but aside from that is all varying levels of grey!

Thank you, DreamerRose! It's such a lovely little community, I'm so glad I found it!

They are the most loved kitties in all of Norway, though I may be bias

Phillip caught a picture of himself on my screen and started mewing at it, but has now settled down to sleep with his chin on my thigh, whilst Elizabeth is sulking on a chair across the room. (She's still not very happy with us, she's the resident kitten by 3 weeks.) but we made good progress today and caught her sniffing his behind and letting him eat from the same bowl!

They're difficult to describe! They're sort of swirled but more 'aurora borealis'y, is probably the best I can do XD Like little whispy cloud trails of lighter grey on his darker grey coat! On his back his markings are very similar in colour, so in some light he looks almost all grey on his back, then with camera flash you can see the lighter grey.

I'll try and get a good side picture!

Thanks so much Tabbytom :D It's so interesting to know, haha!

The two monsters have progressed from standoffish this morning, to chasing each other around the living room and wrestling. It's very cute.

You are welcomed ;)

Yes, kittens are indeed cute. Cherish them and take many photos while they are young. They grow up very fast! Do continue to post their photos ;)

Your cats are absolutely beautiful!  They remind me of my two hooligans, Atticus and Thirteen.  My advice to you is to take TONS of photos and treasure their time as kittens.  There will be plenty of times when you think they are the worst kittens on the planet, zooming here and zooming there, knocking everything over and raising Cain, but kittens grow up quick and become lazy cats!  This is a great time for them and for you.  Enjoy it.

Welcome to the board!

Thank you! I might be bias, but they're -definitely- the most adorable kittens in Norway. :D

I'm taking so many pictures that my friends and family think I'm going slightly mad, but I'm absolutely okay with that! Even when they get 'the kittens' and knock into things, and break things, and run around like lunatics, I can't seem to be mad at them, they've got such lovely little personalities.

Thank you Lily Paddy! I'm so glad they made you smile, they make me smile every day!

We're both so proud of both of them, especially Elizabeth for finally accepting him and taking on the caring role! Since she started being nicer to him, he's really come out of his shell, too, and greets us every morning with headbumps and nose rubs. It's so precious and I'm so glad that we get to give them their forever home, and enjoy their madness for the rest of their lives <3

Hmmmm, might be grounds for treason in England.
Just naming them after my old bosses! XD I was in the Royal Navy, so it only seemed appropriate when I left!
