Hi,

My cat has really bad breath. It seems to have gotten worse. Her teeth are perfectly white, no red gums.

nothing unusual. Tried brushing her teeth, stuff in water.

She is super skittish, very hard to catch. No denying I think she needs to go to the vet but can some cats just have bad breath?

Thanks.

Usually if they have really bad breath something else is going on and a vet visit is warranted. Can you borrow a carrier to make the trip easier? A friend has a cat doesn't like to picked up, so she grabs her while she is eating and stuffs into carrier. Could that work for you?

She could have an abcess somewhere you can't see. I have a skiddish cat and the best time to snatch her to go to the vet is early in the morning when she's waking up. I'd get the earliest appt avail with the vet.
