Hi all! Just needing some advice if possible please?
My cat Cleo is due to have kittens soon! I can feel them moving right down, almost an inch away from her orivates.. im hoping this means ill be meeting them soon!
As anyone noticed kittens that low with labour starting soon?

Yes, it's normal for the kittens to drop.

Do you have nests set up for mom? She needs nest options in warm, dark, private places.

You should also stock up on some supplies. You'll need a small scale for weighing, kitten milk replacer (powdered, avoid Hartz), and a small needleless syringe. A heating source is helpful too. You can use raw rice microwaved in a sock.

Do you plan to spay mom after this litter?

Firstly, yes this is her first and last litter.
Yes i have everything all set up ready to go, i have a selection of boxes for her to chose from [emoji]128522[/emoji] we are ready and waiting for them! Have been for the last week.
Im unsure of exactly how far she is but from judging how far down i could feel a kitten, it seems to be getting close.

I would imagine that she's close. How long have you been feeling them move?

Please know that mom can get pregnant again within a week of delivery and without going into heat. She has to stay totally inside and away from intact males until after her spay.

Yes im aware of the potenial of her getting pregnant again so quick. All steps will be taken to prevent that. As i said this is her first and last litter!!
