There is a thread on this site about Prism, and her four kittens. This was her second litter. Within three days I saw four lives leave the comfort of my room.
I thought I would be able to see these kittens grow up to be strong cats who would find loving homes. Unfortunately this was not the case.
Whether it was from fleas, lack of heat, lack of milk, or lack of care, mama cat, Prism, could not take care of the little ones.
All I can say that you were loved, I loved you dearly despite only knowing you for three days.
Even up to the last moments when I only had little blue (the small grey and white one) left, and she died wrapped up in a blanket on my chest, after being fed honey water, and her last bit of milk. Little, gentle, circles rubbed into her back. Cream and little Gingy died within moments of each other, cuddled up with mum and their siblings. Big Ging died in bed with mum after milk, and some pats. I promise I tried my best up till the very last moments.
Rest well little ones, you have been buried with pink roses.
