5 month growth spurt?

My almost 5 month old kitten just started constantly meowing for food everytime I go in the kitchen. She is raw fed three times a day. Is it possible she is going through a growth spurt and needs more or is it habit? I swear she has her serving and not even 30 minutes later is meowing at my feet again. She doesn't have parasites or anything and is an indoor cat.

How much are you feeding her at each serving? Three meals a day seems infrequent for a still growing kitten, especially if her servings are small. I have a three year old resident cat who eats 5 times a day (total ~180-200 calories per day). She's very active and has stayed trim at 9 pounds.

I've had 5 month old fosters, and they are very active. I feed them raw also, but I always leave a dish with wet canned food for them to graze on throughout the day. They finish every lick of it. They eat multiple times a day (maybe every 2-3 hours) throughout the day. You can leave canned food out for hours, and unlike raw, it will not go bad because it's been cooked.

Yes, kittens definitely got thru growing spurts,so it's very possible she is still hungry.  Of course, we have no idea whether or not you are feeding her enough because we have no idea how big she is (weight wise), how active she is, how much you are feeding her, etc.  But the rule of thumb on kittens is to let them eat as much as they want.
