so just recently i've caught my 6 months old male kitten trying to mate with my 4 months old kitten, i didn't know they could mate at that early age , so i just  took my male kitten off her and looked on the internet about that , i found that they could mate so early so now i'm really worried that he might have gotten her pregnant , so how can i determine that and is there any chance that he didn't ? because he was going crazy about her yesterday but now they're not mating anymore. Please help!

Please get her spayed asap! It is technically possible, and you absolutely do not want a kitten that young having a litter.

Yes, the best and safest is to make a virtue out of necessity, and simply spay her as soon her heat is over.  You shall do it anyways, so whatsa matter.

Well i'm not sure the nearest vet here can do or has the equipment for cat spaying,so i'll ask him and check

and btw is there anyway that the vet can see if she's pregrant?

You need to find a vet who can spay and neuter. You can't keep the two intact cats in your home safely otherwise.

by critical do you mean it could kill her? or it's important to do it

Both. It's very important for the health of both of your cats to spay and neuter, especially if you live in a home with one of each.

However, letting a four month old have kittens is cruel, and is very dangerous.

As said, its a standard surgery, they teach it in all the vet schools and is in every surgery handbook..  Even most free-time practicioners do it.  Even most vets specialized on big farm animals should know how to.  So as soon the vet isnt incompetent, it should go fine.  But of course, do ask before.   :)

Just be sure she isnt in heat, because when in heat, the tissues ruptures easier, and it bleeds more.  Nothing much for an experienced vet surgeon, but may become difficult and even dangerous with an inexperienced vet.

Nothing will be visible for the vet for at least two, perhaps even 3 weeks.  So even if you are in a country where the vets dont wants to do spay-abourt, he will dont notice anything.   But his means, you are in some hurry.
