Eye discharge

I adopted a kitten a couple of days ago and she is missing one eye and today it was discharging more than usual. It was clear so I don't think it's infected I was just wondering if this is normal?

My blind cat has one missing eye and she gets a little mucous like d/c there all the time and for her that's normal.  You've only had your cat a couple of days so its hard to know what is normal, i would cvall the shelter and try and speak with someone who is familir with her or can look up her records and see what they say.
