I just caught Tigger peeing on our leather ottoman. So, I had a syringe sitting in the refrigerator, and took a sample. Do I put her sample back in the fridge til morning, or leave it out? Another, thing, is I think this syringe has been used w. amoxicillin, but am not 100% sure... I've always been good about rinsing them clean. Anyways, does the urine have to be cold or warm?

The syringe is fine as long as it's been washed. It needs to remain cold until it gets to the vet. If you let it sit out in the at room temperature, the bacteria will continue to multiply and the sample wont be accurate.

also unless you use a really good enzyme cleaner like Nok-out, your cat will go back to the same spot every 3 days and pee on it.

Enzyme cleaner
