Hey everyone :wavey:

I've been cold all day today, just can't seem to get warm. :cold: I've had to turn my thermostat up to 23 degrees. It's normally set at about 19 - 20 degrees :D
So this brings me on to today's question ........

What temperature do you normally have your thermostat set at ?

USA here so my numbers will look much higher. I actually forgot you live elsewhere and was puzzled by the temperature you posted!

Anyway, we usually keep our home set at 71 which I guess is about 21 for you?  It's at 70 overnight.  Rarely goes higher but if we have a bad storm come through we might put it to 72.  Never ever higher!

It's all over the place, unfortunately.  I get overheated easily in the mornings, so it's never above 70.  Then in the late afternoons, I get chilly, so it's somewhere between 72-74.  Then back to 70 in the evenings.  THEN at bedtime, it goes to 68.  I can't stay comfy at one temp.

i have my thermostat set at 69 degrees F, day and night. however, from about the time i wake up until maybe an hour or two after i go to bed, i have the wood burning stove going. so the daytime temp here during the cold weather months stays in the 77-82 degrees F range.

I am like @Mamanyt1953    My new thermostat is all over the place.. The old one was pretty stable at 68 at night and around 68-70 during the afternoon and morning; but I was always cold during the day.

I get the morning sun, so my apartment heats from that. Once the sun moves, it gets chilly in here.

Currently, I put it on 68 at around 7pm, up at 70 when I get up, and then back to 68 when the sun is brightly shining... when/if no sun, then it is on 70 all day... sometimes 71 for a bit.. the new furnace is really good.. nice warm air coming out.. feels good; but the thermostat takes a bit of me getting accustomed to it.. and the variance of it..

We typically keep the thermostat at 66 during the day, 68 if it's in the single digits, and turn it down to 62 at night.  Bought some flannel sheets for the bed and they help keep us very cozy.  Carleton gives the new sheets his "stamp of approval."

When I use ac I put it on 78-f. When I use the heater it is 70-72-f. Southern La. is like tropical at least half the year so I am very use to tropic temps. Must say though in Summer I am inside a lot.

I have a programmable thermostat. On weekdays it's set to 65 F for an hour in the morning when I get up and get ready for work. Then it goes to 60 F until after dinner when it goes back to 65 F until bedtime when it goes back to 60 F. On weekends it's the same schedule but the times are set for a little later. But the heat rarely turns on since the inside temperature stays at least 65 F unless it's really really cold outside.
