Hi everyone. I posted awhile back that I had taken in a pregnant stray cat. Well I rehomed Mom cat as well as 2 of her kittens. I kept the 3 boys of the litter. They will be 5 mos old on Feb 2nd and I have them scheduled to be neutered on Feb 7th. With that being said, my question is will neutering calm them down? My 2 yr old cat is slowly coming around, it seems as though him and my older cat who is 8 are afraid of "the gang". They are hyper lil buggers who just want to play. My 2 yr old still likes to play, but he's so leary of it because they come running to join in.
There are days I wonder if I did the right thing keeping all 3 of them. They have been integrated for about 2 mos. My 2 yr old still hisses at them and swats and then runs. He wouldn't hurt them. He even tortures them sometimes in the morning like a big brother would and just swats (no hissing) them and runs away, like a catch me if you can game.
I just hope and pray when they are neutered they tone it down a bit. Your thoughts on this are greatly appreciated.
Oh and Emma my 8 yr old doesn't play much anymore, she just sits or lays and watches the antics going on around her.
