Hello cat lovers!!
Earlier this year we adopted a beautiful Birman cat from Battersea Cats and Dogs home here in London.
Whatever we did he never looked very impressed!! Even when he was gracious enough to let us brush and worship His Royal Fluffiness, he would enjoy it for a while and then decide at a totally random point that he had had enough and look angry and swish his tail.
Don't worry, we took the hint...!
We didn't get to meet him before reserving him which in hindsight we would much rather have done, both my boyfriend and I love cats and even walking down the street, cats normally come to us and let us stroke them, dogs too.
This was sadly a very traumatised cat. He had a wire in his jaw which the previous owners hadn't removed on time due to not having money for vets bills hence giving him up in the first place. So these pictures are mid way through battersea trying to fix that. We think he has made a good recovery now.
He HATED other cats poor boy, we think one had attacked him in a previous home, and in the end we took him back to Battersea as there were too many other neighbouring cats where we lived and he looked really stressed and traumatised by them.
We understand he has now gone to live in the countryside with strict instructions to be in a very low cat population area! So we believe he has now found a much more suitable home [emoji]128578[/emoji]
