OW! OW, OW. LUCY!

Some empty plastic bins piled in the hallway fell over.  They startled Lucy, maybe they even fell on her.  Lucy darted for the closest escape and leaped through the partly open bathroom door and right into the bath tub.  Trouble is, I was in the tub, having a bath.  Lucy hit the water and me and rebounded like I was a trampoline.  Her back feet AND claws launched off my inner thigh and her front feet WITH claws sprang off my inner calf.  OW!  The water trail through our house is nothing compared to the scratches on my leg.

So sorry for you and for Lucy.  That was traumatic.  I would suggest you trim her claws, both front and back, and keep them trimmed on a regular basis.  It will be safer for BOTH of you.
