I'd love a banana split. One scoop each of vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate, with caramel syrup on the vanilla, strawberry syrup on the strawberry, and chocolate syrup on the chocolate. All on a sliced banana with whipped cream and a cherry on top.

If I had it, I could never get it all down these days. But once a century ago, I did.
a banana split sounds lovely!!!
and a very nice choice of toppings on your ice cream flavors!

Make mine a vanilla soft serve in a cup, with extra extra caramel and a LOT of chopped peanuts
oh, wow! that sounds terrific!!!

Oh and none for the kitties. Cocoa dislike everything related to dairy and while Casper would love to have a lick, he's in remission for diabetes so there's just no need for that!
oh well, maybe some kitty treats for your Cocoa and Casper then.

One scoop of chocolate fudge ice cream, one scoop of peppermint ice cream in a waffle cone.  Kinda like an ice cream version of peppermint bark.
ahhh, that's a really great combination -- the chocolate fudge and peppermint ice creams!

I don't like ice-cream. I'm not a big fan of sweet things in general and try to avoid dairy products. I can't eat anything cold either. Makes my teeth hurt just thinking about it.

Give me a big mug of tea instead and I'll be happy.

i understand!
i don't eat ice cream during the cold weather months at all, as it would take me quite a while to feel warm again.

after i finish my (imaginary) ice cream, i'll join you in a cup of hot (herbal, for me) tea!

Two scoops of vanilla ice cream, hot fudge and caramel sauce, whipped cream, pecans, and of course a cherry on top.  Kind of a Turtle sundae.   I would give each of the kitties a little of the plain ice cream, they would probably sniff at it and walk away.
very nice, a Turtle sundae!!!

that's a 'classic' kitty response!

Vanilla soft serve in a waffle bowl with gummy bears, hot fudge and real whipped cream. The cats have never tasted dairy. I don't think I'd try giving them any. I'd give them some cooked chicken breast or some Pure Bites.
Yummmmm! that really sounds very good, and unusual with the gummy bears!

come to think of it, my three haven't tasted any dairy either.
cooked chicken breast or some Pure Bites would be very nice for your Lilith, Sophie, Henry, and Bailey!

I love ice cream. And I love chocolate.  So any combination of the two works for me.

None for Ruby. She shows no interest in dairy at all.  Now if we were discussing potato chips ...
very nice!!!
and there are so many different possible combinations of the two, too!

your Ruby likes potato chips!
does she eat them, or does she like to lick the salt from them?

Gummy bears and vanilla soft serve go great together. Even better with vanilla frozen custard!

Yes- they are all big fans of chicken breast. I stock up when it's BOGO at Publix (our local Florida based grocery chain). I'll be adding to our stock tomorrow. It's a good, healthy treat and topper for wet foods.

I will get a dish of soft serve vanilla for   Honeybe.   She LOVES dairy queen soft serve vanilla=she gets her own kiddie cone. she does eat the cone too. That cat is part human. If I am eating it=she wants some. I only let her have a few licks and only a nibble of cone. not the crunchy cone but that standard nonsweet cone.

but since I don't eat ice cream much-I will stick with vanilla. I used to have it dipped in chocolate coating-that one that hardens. Yum. and if I eat hard icecream-I put it in a bowl and mash it until it's soft like pudding...otherwise it hurts my teeth. I don't care for other flavors or stuff on it except for caramel/butterscotch topping. and make that cone a LARGE. That I could eat no problem.
awwwww, thanks so sweet!!!

soft serve vanilla ice cream cone, large!!! a most excellent choice!

my favorite is vanilla ice cream, a particular brand (Prairie Farms) that just tastes so rich and like real old fashioned ice cream. i like other flavors of ice cream, as well as sherbet, gelato, and frozen yogurt too -- but the Prairie Farms vanilla ice cream is the best, imo. they also make rainbow sherbet that's really, really good.

That sounds good to me Denice!  but like Muffy said, I'd add brownies at the bottom!  I love the Ben & Jerry's chocolate fudge brownie! However, I'd have to also pretend that eating it wouldn't lead to me doubled over in pain!  I don't know if there's enough lactaide to combat all that ice cream!
Definitely worth a few bites anyway!!
yes, double up on the chocolate, with brownies at the bottom!!!

we'll serve some brownies, blondies, cupcakes, and cookies at our (imaginary) ice cream social too -- for those who are lactose intolerant. and of course, we'll have some baked items for those who don't tolerate gluten well either.

A scoop of vanilla & a scoop of strawberry. That's it. No, I do not give my cats human food.
one scoop each of vanilla and strawberry, very nice!!!

i think we must have some Pure Bites treats at our (imaginary) ice cream social too -- for the cats!

that does sound like a very tasty combination, the gummy bears and vanilla soft serve! and you know i have no problem trying new things -- like my beloved peanut butter and sweet bread & butter pickle slices.

hmmmm......our Dude and DeeDee would probably really like some plain baked chicken breast as a topper!
not for our Punky though, our vet thinks possibly IBD.
