TYSM. Yeah, if you could have seen all the times she tried to gain his interest and he didn't return it. Such a GORGEOUS beauty, too! I always thought maybe it was because he was an early neuter. His voice never even changed -- it was so comical hearing this high-pitched squeak coming from this massive 22-lb. guy.
tarasgirl06 tarasgirl06 - It's sad - but when they finally become Friends, it is so worth it. When Bob came in, everyone steered clear of him, because - BOB. Now that they all know him, he's a Family member to every other kitty - even to Peanut, who's always been the alpha cat:

Oddly, it was White Tip - the wildest feral I've ever known - who acted as the facilitator in most cases, even interceding on Mirò's behalf when she came in, and being the welcoming committee for Black Friday and Clawed-Ya as well. I'd never have expected this wild little girl to end up the diplomat. It simply shows how little Humans know when compared to cats. What a shame that so many of us are too smart to learn from them.

1CatOverTheLine 1CatOverTheLine What a GREAT -- and I mean that in every sense of the word -- photo! Bob could be nicknamed "The Great One" in a tip of the hat to our mutual fave, Jackie Gleason, couldn't he?
Oh, yeah, you're so right there. I remember when Tim and Rojita showed up in our yard 2 houses ago. They were always together, but they weren't alone -- in the background, I'd always see this big panther guy built like a bulldog. That was Calo, looking out for the two little teenagers. He and Rojita got adopted by us; Tim had a skin condition and needed treatment we couldn't provide, plus a low-light life in a place that wasn't So Cali. He was accepted into Best Friends in Utah, cured, and eventually adopted. He became a Canadian and was pampered and loved all his life long.
