I'm a new kitten mom and my kitten has not been eating for 2 days . I noticed she licked salt deicer off the floor, I got it all off the floor and now I'm just worried about her? I'm pretty sure it's not good but the veterinarian here can't see her until Monday and it's Friday. I would appreciate any advice

Please tell the vet it's an emergency and get her in.
What happened here? Did you get her in on an emergency basis? Lots of Salt Diecer is Pet Safe...was that one? What did the package say? If it said anything about keeping pets away, then your Vet should definitely see her immediately. There are emergency Vets for weekends and nights. If you absolutely cannot get her in to be seen, there is the ASPCA hotline (888) 426-4435 They DO have a consulting fee, but it's worth it if she truly ate poison. Try to find an emergency clinic in your area. Cats shouldn't go that long without consuming food.
