Any vegetables or fruits good for kitty?

So, it seems like the general consensus is that cats don't need veggies and fruits....they are carnivores.

Are there any greens or fruits that cats can eat, digest, and that will offer some good nutrients and vitamins?

As a side note. I had some boiled carrots and kale yesterday. I offered Simon some with some boiled chicken and he loved it. Lol

Green beans, squash (especially pumpkin), carrot...but do not make a habit of it.  And DO NOT add ANY SEASONING, including salt, to kitty's menu.

My cat loves and I mean loves peas. Another thing he gor into was mini marshmallows I purchased to do rice krispy treats. I thought I had a mouse until I found two stuck in his fur. [emoji]128517[/emoji]

Nope. Do not give cats any fruits or veggies. Their bodies cannot do anything with them. 

Give fresh cat grass or catnip instead. Both are very easy to grow indoors You don't need a kit from the pet store. Just buy wheatgrass seed or barley seed from most any organic type market (Whole Foods, etc) or online and grow in potting soil that does not contain fertilizers or other chemicals (seed starting mixes are usually safe) and use plain water to help the seeds germinate and to keep the grass or catnip plants growing. Use a heavy pot that the cats can't knock over. Some cats get really excited over fresh grass and catnip. A pot that is pretty deep, 6 inches or more, will provide catnip plants plenty of room for the roots to grow and you get bigger plants. You can pick the leaves and dry them for later use. Cat grass usually doesn't last too long so a shallower pot is ok.
