Awhile ago I was asked to work on an article for Cat Talk magazine (the CFA publication) with a judge friend of mine. I did and it was okay, but now they have asked me to write an article by myself. The subject is cat bites in humans - my friend thought it would be a good topic for me since one of mine just bit me. He was tired of being groomed and I ignored the signals. It was my fault ENTIRELY. I have never really written much except the article on Pandecats (on line Persian cat magazine) about my Jack, but it was heavily edited. I am going to try to talk to the head of our local ER if he/she will speak with me. Failing that I will touch base with my own doctor, if he is willing. Keep your fingers crossed for me that I don't embarrass myself!

Hope your article went well! With your abundance of knowledge I'm sure you'll do (or have done) an amazing job!

The article was finished before Valentines day and I believe it comes out with the next issue of Cat Talk magazine. I had a difficult time getting doctors and vets to talk to me. I ended up talking  with a Pharmacy Clinical Specialist, with a BA, BS and PharmD degree, who is also a breeder. I would like to write more, but I want to pick the subjects so I am not sure I will do any more for the magazine. They assign articles.

Congratulations finishing the article albeit difficulty getting doctors/vets to discuss the subject with you.  You were resourceful talking with a Pharm. specialist who coincidently is a breeder.  Best of luck with future writing endeavors!
