Thank u for posting this question! I'm a new Kitten Mommy and love both my kitties.
They both jump to catch flies and run a million miles an hour at home trying to catch them. I enjoy watching and must confess I sometimes open the door to let flies in for their entertainment (and mine!)
Welllll today outside as I daily let them out I saw my lil 7 month old jump and attack a "fly" they wrestled a bit and it flew away. She keeps licking her lips n rubbing mouth with paw. I think it was actually a BEE!!!!
I thought it may have stung her tongue but noticed she had a "sty" maybe on the outer lip part... removed it and cleaned area with ACV. Suggestions please?

How long ago did it happen?

If it has been a few hours she is out of immediate danger and just keep an eye on her for 48 hours to make sure she doesn't have a delayed reaction. It sounds like you have already removed the stinger. You can expect some localized swelling and possibly some minor pain when it is touched. You can use ice to help with the swelling (assuming she allows it).

The biggest danger from bee stings is an allergic reaction and swelling to the throat that can block airways or shock setting in. You will want to watch for any sort of swelling outside of the immediate area of the sting or that the swelling is spreading. If the swelling is spreading but she is showing no other signs you will want to call your vet and see what they recommend. They may say to give Benedryl (don't give without vet saying to and only at the dosage you are told) or to bring her in for them to verify that is is a mild reaction. If you see any signs of difficultly breathing (like panting), that she has a fever, is lethargic, crying out when you aren't touching it, vomiting, pale gums then that is a sign that she is reacting badly to the sting and needs to see the vet immediately for treatment. Usually the really bad reaction though will occur within 15 minutes or the first hour at the latest.

What a cutie.

If she isn't showing any swelling then you should be fine. Yay!
