I have a one year old female I found as a feral when she was 2 months old. She loves to catch and eat bugs. Flys, roaches, whatever. One time I came out on the balcony and she was chewing on some kind of dragonfly with weird tendrils sticking out of her mouth!?!
Also she seems to love to hunt and catch insects so I'm wondering, what bugs are ok for her to eat that I can buy from a pet store or catch easily and release for her to "play" with.

Idk about buying bugs and giving them to her to hunt. Maybe ask your vet about that.

Now, I have two cats and they are both bug eaters, mostly crickets. They find their way into the house and my cats are on them. First, they are played with, but eventually end up eaten.

There are some things you should be worried about. Parasites and eggs can be found on insects, so watch out for your girl. Another thing is, she might throw up. I read, cats can't digest the exoskeleton of insects, so she may throw them up.

Yeah my girl will hunt a fly until it either flys back out or she eats it. No exception.
I used to let her out in the day time for the first 3-4 months I had her and she loved it. She got attacked a couple of times by ferals, so I decided to make her a full time inside cat.
So I am constantly trying to keep her stimulated, she likes to hunt and chase and I need something to help keep her amused, so I thought 2 birds one stone.

I can suggest some interactive toys. Get a feather teaser(I recommend the Jackson Galaxy teaser. my cats go crazy for it.) Play with her maybe, an hour of unless she can't move anymore. When your gone, maybe get some cat puzzles and place her favorite treats and maybe dry food inside. Maybe two different ones to keep it different. Place some treats and dry food around the house. That is a form of hunting.

You can also get some battery operated cat toys. Some move on their own, and other need a push to get them going. If your girl likes laser pointers, then, get an automatic one.
