good afternoon!

lately i've started watching some new (to me) tv shows. some are shows that have been on for more than one season, others are totally new.

so for today's Question of the Day......

Are there any tv shows that you've started watching -- either totally new shows, or shows that have been on for a while already?

i'll start!

there are quite a few new shows that i've started watching lately. i stream, via hulu/netflix/amazon instant video. most recently, i've started watching Homeland from the beginning -- it's in it's 4th season now. i'm finding that really interesting, and it has an involved storyline to it. and i've also started watching the Hulu original series Shut Eye, starring Jeffrey Donovan. that one is quite interesting, and...different.

i've also started watching some of the amazon original series Z:  The Beginning of Everything, which caught my interest because it's about Zelda Sayre Fitzgerald and i enjoy watching shows set in earlier time periods. and also an amazon original series, Goliath. this show is a really good one! keeps me on the edge of my seat.

how about you?

I've been watching more shows on PBS lately, especially the Antiques Roadshow.

I tend to watch ID, NatGeo and the different History channels.  A&E has started up their Hoarder show again.  They are getting more into the psychology side of it and I have been watching that.  They usually only do a few episodes then it's a long time before it is done again.  I think that show probably costs more than average as far as reality shows to film.  I met a guy that worked for College Hunks and he worked on a hoarding haul away job.  He said that College Hunks charged $22,000 for that job.  A&E also gives the people on the show aftercare funds to use for therapy and/or professional organizer help.

I watched a couple episodes tonight on the Scientology Cult, Leah Remini expose. It was very interesting, but not shocking because I've known forever that it is a cult and not a religion. I don't know if I'll watch more, but if they're on and when I'm not doing anything else, I might.  Someone needs to take them down!

I don't really watch all that much TV these days, not much on that interests me.  When History channel actually does history, I might watch.

I watched a couple of episodes of Leah Remini's series as well.  I didn't think it was anything new there and I quit watching it as well.

New: This is Us. I absolutely love this show!

New-ish - Chicago Med. I really love it, too.

And for the "older" shows I watch Chicago Fire (going strong since 2012) is on Season 5 now and Chicago P.D. (going strong since 2014)  is on Season 4.. love all the Chicago shows. I am excited for Chicago Justice in March. Some will probably think they have too many shows... well I don't lol. I love all of them and hopefully Chicago Justice will be good, too. I was skeptical about Chicago Med (2015) too but I really love it. All of the shows are good and it's on it's 2nd season.

I also really like the Blacklist. :) It's on Season 4 now.

I don't have cable, so luckily all of them are on the same local channel. :)

Homeland is brilliant. Been hooked since the pilot. I am watching Bloodline from Netflix. Very good family drama set in the Florida Keys.

We haven't had cable in a few years so most of what we watch is on Netflix or Amazon.

Right now I'm enjoying Diggers.  I love to see what they find!  There is another show where they search old battlefields from World War II and recover items and things (including people
).  That is also very interesting; but much more emotional to watch.

For lighter watching I'm enjoying Fuller House and I love Fixer Upper too.

I have watched almost all of The Crown; that was excellent!

My favorite new show is Designated Survivor.  I watch a good amount of TV, although less now that I'm downstairs and can actually get outside with the walker!

really good choices in tv shows!

i enjoy the real history type shows too, as well as some of the travel shows -- the ones where you get to tour an area somewhere around the world, and see historic places and things (statues, ruins, and etc).
