Hey Everyone,
Today one of my kitties 10 months old has been having diarrhea. Its grainy in texture and i searched through it today with a plastic fork and found a very small worm. It was white in color but had almost a brown hue at the bottom. Probably about an inch big. My kitties have been dewormed before. But i think they got this infection from my sisters dog. Who was infested with worms. (Long story short the person who sold her the dog has to pay all the vet bills and stuff because he was deemed unfit for sale.) Anyway his poop looked pretty identical to hers. So im going to be treating all my kitties with panacur but what protocol should i follow when it comes to changing the litter boxes and stuff. Any Advice would be very much appreciated. Thanks a bunch guys!

A whipworm looks kind of like a whip, or so I read.  One end is thicker, like a whip handle, while the other end is narrower.  Is this what it looked like. ?

Does your sister's dog live in the same house as your kittens/cats?  Again , from everything I can ascertain, the eggs can live in the soil for years, so the outside area where the dog has been would need to be replaced in order to eradicate the little buggers.  But I'm no expert on ANY worms, never having had to deal with them.  And, unfortunately, I can;t really find much information on them here on this site.  I guess no one else has had to deal with them either.

First thing I would do is take this particular kitten to the Vet and make sure you know exactly what you are dealing with.  In the meantime, I would take the normal precautionary measures whenever you have worms, and clean the litter boxes after each poop, at very minimum.
