So, I had gotten a cat from my sister in law about a month ago - that I'd over a year old, and I have known all of her life - with the intention of getting her spayed since she already has had 1 litter (her first) because they had her as an indoor outdoor cat, although she isn't at her new home with me. I had a feeling that she was pregnant when I had first brought her home, but I thought it would have been odd since she had her first litter just at the end of September. She is now very much pregnant, and she has seemingly tripled in her normal belly size. Maybe more. My concern is that she has been extremely hyper and playful all throughout her pregnancy, and I haven't been able to feel the kittens move at all yet.
I have had one cat in the past who had became pregnant several times, and her behavior was very different. Although, that cat was also very different in personality... I'm just not sure my pregnant cat should be as energetic and athletic as she was as a kitten. i.e. running everywhere, jumping up onto ceiling high cabinets, etc. Has anyone here ever had a cat anywhere within 1 to 3 weeks of their due date act this way? Also, I'm worried that I haven't been able to feel the kittens move yet when I was able to by now with my old cat. I just need confirmation that this isn't extreme or entirely out of the ordinary.
Thanks!

Yes, some do remain very moveable into almost the last stages.   Its good if they can, out in the wild there are no maternity homes, and high pregs are a given prey for both predators and mean boys...

Also in the human world some are quite moveable into late pregnancy.  I know of severeal women whom continued with active sports on elite niveu into quite late.

Not full contact sports, but in some cases almost...
