I noticed my calico has very big pink long nipples suddenly, and for the last month she has been in heat constantly (Presenting her butt, meowing, rolling around, more affectionate) but we do have a pregnant cat in the house as well, and she seems suddenly more aggressive with my pregnant kitty. This female has only gotten out once, and has had many a heat cycle since.

Can her estrus cycle be causing her nipple change?

Side note*** her and my pregnant cat are to be spayed very shortly, the cat contantly in heat with the large nipples presents no other signs of pregnancy. Very slim girl, and she got out 2, maybe 3 months ago now, so pregnancy is highly unlikely.

**her aggression is not harmful, just a warning to the other cat that she wants to be left alone.

She may be having a false pregnancy. Either way, she should go to the vet for a check up. When do you plan to spay her?

You may need to separate your girls. How pregnant is the pregnant one?

I want to get both girls spayed together. The pregnant one is due very shortly, and my calico's nipples look more pregnant then my pregnant cat's.

Spaying the not pregnant now one may be better, especially if her body is under this much stress from heats and the pregnancy symptoms. Otherwise, you'll need to wait two months after your girl delivers.

I think your cat who isn't pregnant should see a vet regardless.

I will call around. I doubt its a false pregnancy, because she lacks all other signs, and is calling like she is in heat, and from my research cats with a fake or pseudo pregnancy do not continue to go into heat. I'll call vets today, but I'm not sure if, or when I can get her in as my pregnant cat sees the vet today, and vets are rather expensive.

Why does your pregnant cat need to see the vet?

But perhaps you could bring them both in today so the vet could take a quick look.

The pregnant one sees the vet today because she came to my care pregnant, and is not an ideal age to be pregnant. The vets think the non pregnant cat is "copy catting" the pregnant kitty due to hormones. I called this morning to discuss Calypso (non pregnant). They aren't to concerned, and she seems calmer this morning :)

I agree that your non-pregnant cat needs to be spayed now. Do you have access to low-cost spay services in Canada? Or perhaps your vet would give you a payment plan?

I am looking around for spay clinics, we found out the new addition to our family is not a pregnant female. Our kitten is a male who had worms, but is now getting treatment.

Please keep your cat separated until they are spayed and neutered. Otherwise, you may wind up with some kittens regardless!

What a twist!

They are separated lol. For two reasons;
No kittens
Keeping him isolated until his meds are done.
(Hes being babied)
I am so TICKED at the person I got him from.. lied about his age, and didn't give the correct gender, he came riddled with fleas, and now worms??? Oh and Simons Mom routinely births litters.. I imagine shes sick.

I am newer here, and I must say I appreciate all you guys have to say.. I've been reading many threads and you guys are so compassionate. Not only with the fur babies, but their owners too.

This site is a fantastic place to be.. SO educational

I thought it weird that my cat in heat wanted NOTHING to do with my secretly male cat once she went into heat. He doesn't have much interest in her either hahahaha. Shes getting spayed next week, and he's getting neutered.

I'm so lucky they aren't interested in eachother.. otherwise I could've expected kittens for sure.
She is 1 1/2 he is max 7 mnths old..
