Wow it's been a long time since my last post.
So, my cat, Yue, has recently been having facial tremors, which some people identified as small seizures in this post here: http://www.thecatsite.com/t/268878/facial-tremors And yes, her's look pretty much identical to DeeJay's, combined with the occasional chin quivering or other facial twitches.
I took her to the vet today and got some bloodwork done, and the vet said she had some elevated enzymes in her kidney. Still pretty close to normal, but what they'd call stage one (out of four) kidney disease. At the vets suggestion, I decided to buy some RenAvast, and I'll be trying it to see if anything improves.
I, however, forgot to ask my vet if it's okay if cats without kidney problems can safely eat it too. I've got two cats and one of them, Doll, is still, as far as I know, healthy. I usually keep an eye on them when they're eating to make sure that they don't try to eat from the other cat's dish, but I sometimes, especially if I'm feeding dry (which they eat slowly throughout the day, as opposed to the raw that I usually feed), they'll eat from each other's dishes.
Anyway, the point of this post is just wondering if it would be okay if, once in a while, Doll got a hold of Yue's RenAvast.
And also to point out that if you notice your cat having twitches like that, it could very well be an early sign of kidney failure so make sure to get your kitties checked out!
