Hello, all. I hail from the great state of Montana AKA Big Sky Country.
I am owned by four wonderful cats.
Ben who is a Burmese and who adopted us many years ago. The story of Ben is he was a neighbors cat and the husband did not like cats. So Ben was always out in the cold. We allowed Ben to go into our garage where we had a heated water dish and a bed for him to sleep in at night. It took him two years to finally feel "safe" around us. One spring day he was sunning himself on our truck. I happened to be going outside to do something and he got up and walked over to me and wanted to be petted. That is all it took. He is now one big happy member of our family.
Callie who is a Calico was adopted as a kitten by myself and my partner. She lived with my partner for two years before a tragedy hit. My partner committed suicide. So I was left with no choice but to bring Callie home and hope for the best. My parents at the time were out of town and had no idea I had brought another cat home. We already had two at the time. Fast forward and my Father and Mother approved of her and she has been a happy part of the family.
Carmen was a Christmas present years ago to my mother. She had always wanted a Maine Coon, so my sister in Missouri thought she had gotten a true Maine Coon. As it turns out, she is not all Maine Coon. She is part Maine Coon and Tabby. Her namesake is after the Opera Carmen.
Bond is a Tuxie and is the latest addition to our brood. He is the most loveable cat and is also the house clown. He got his name from James Bond because he is a Tuxedo.
