I have a 9 month old cat who is pregnant and do any day. I believe she got pregnant around the week of November 1st. So with our calculations she should be due any day this week. For the past 4 hours she has been vomiting up water and once she vomited up her food she's just laying around and looks completely miserable like she can't move and I know what she feels like because I had four children and at the end of pregnancy you are a completely miserable but wasn't sure if vomiting had anything to do with her going into labor. Please comment below and tell me your thoughts thank you

Vomiting at the end stages of pregnancy isn't normal in cats and neither is lethargy. She should be following you around complaining.

That doesn't sound right, my cat is also due this week, if she throws up once maybe twice just keep an eye on her but if it happens more than that take her to the emergency vet immediately

Thanks for both of your help. Her name is pearly btw she hasnt vomited since around 9am. She has drank water since then and just got done eating. So far so good. Ill update if she vomits up her food. Thanks everyone. Congrats layla on your cat. How old is your cat? Is she laying around a lot? I have 2 other male cats and I feel bad because they are running around playing and looks so pitiful with this little potbelly.

No problem, sorry if I sounded rude or rushed it's 1am here and I'm very tired but just can't sleep. My Eevee is so fat right now all she does is sleep, eat and poop haha I'm so excited for kittens but I took her in just a few weeks ago already pregnant so I have no idea what the dad looks like! She's around 1 year old. Pearly is a beautiful cat, I used to have a ginger fur baby when I was little ^_^
That's the only photo I have of Eevee on my laptop, it was a few weeks ago though so she's much bigger than that now

Oh no worries layla. Ok she did vomit again. It looked gross like she pooped but it was vomit. But she keeps laying around. Yes both of my males are fixed now. See I never wanted this to happen I took pearly to get fixed and she didnt weigh enough and by the time my males had an appointment it had already happened with my 8 mth old male leo. So yes they are both fixed and I dont let mine outside so we should be good now :-). But now my main concern is this labor. I never did this before so just get worried about everything.

I agree she needs to see a vet asap to rule out any problems. She also does not need to get dehydrated from vomiting. Please let us know what the vet says. The vomiting is not normal at all.
