Hi people. I last posted early November after my dear 4year old Snowball was diagnosed with CHF.. he had some ER treatment, was hospitalized for two days and put on a regime of lasix (10mg once a day), vetmedin twice a day, fortekor once a day, with 1/4 baby aspirin every three days.
He has been doing rather well in the past two months. He seems almost entirely normal. Eating, pooping, playing etc... he even comes by himself for his medication nowadays.

But, since Sunday morning, he's vomited twice. Mostly digested or partially digested food. His stools are normal and he has an appetite still. He hasn't eaten anything funny either as he spends most of his time indoors anyway. We haven't changed his food at all either.

I'm worried. I guess I should be. The vet says it's not likely a tummy bug or anything and if this continues then it could be his kidneys. What would this mean? Kidney failure? I realize lasix can affect kidneys...
She doesn't suspect gastritis. He seems to throw up some hours after eating...

Any advice good people?

To clarify: he threw up on Sunday morning and just now, today, midday...

I'm so sorry your wee one isn't feeling well.

One thing that was pointed out to me was don't use baby aspirin, can you ask your vet for Buprenex .  The aspirin was recommended at my vets guidance but the Buprenex was more effective.

I hope Snowball feels better soon.
