Looking back, 2016 was a big year for movies about cats. Hollywood seems to be picking up on the fact that kittehs rule the internet, and are the most popular pet in 'Merica, therefore audiences will go to see movies about cats.
Out of the three big ones (Keanu, Bob, and Nine Lives) I've only seen Keanu, although I did read the book "A Street Cat Named Bob."
Has anyone else seen Keanu? I loved it. It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but it shows how far some cat people will go to get their beloved pets back.
Here are some clips:
Clarence meets Keanu: ("Oh my God, that's the cutest cat I've ever seen in my life!")
"In the market for a gangsta pet":
Interview with the cast and Keanu:
Method Man: "One of them stayed on the catnip the whole time...dope fiend!" lol.
I think "A Streetcat Named Bob" was a limited release and it was supposed to get a wider release, but I have not seen any theaters playing it in my area. Has anyone seen it?
