Dear all, Happy new year! [emoji]128518[/emoji]

I've two cats, a male(1.5y.o) and female(1y.o). I've been feeding them almost three to four times a day, 1 pack each time and their dry food is always available.

Am i feeding them too much? if yes, please kindly advice me on proper feeding. My girl seems to be always hungry... She will only start to meow whenever i'm in the kitchen... And she does it every time even if she just ate an hour ago!!!!

I'm currently using royal canin dry food and felix wet food. Any replies will be very appreciated! thank you so much in advance!!! [emoji]128571[/emoji]

How many ounces are in each pack?  I've never heard of the brand Felix-What country are you in?  Also, how much dry food do you estimate they each consume a day?

Do they share one bowl for the wel food?  Do you watch them eat?  Does the  male eat it all, or most of it?  Do you ever see your female eat the dry food?

If you have dry food always available, and she eats it, then she should not be hungry.  I'm guessing she isn't eating it.  Is she thin?  The way to judge if you are feeding the right amount is the size of your cat.  (whether or not they are over or under weight, or the perfect weight)

Here's a chart to shows how to judge her body condition:

Do they share the pack it is it one pack each per meal? If it's four packs per cat a day I'd say it might be a lot if they also have their dry available.

Felix comes in 100gr packs, which is a little over 3 oz I think.

I would look at the calorie content of the foods your cats are eating and then check with this chart:

http://www.animalmedicalcenterofchicago.com/pdf/CalorieRequirementsForCats.pdf

It's a good idea to start measuring specific amounts of food to put out and to get the cats used to a specific schedule. You can calculate calories and feed according ot the chart and then adjust as needed based on whether you think the cats are getting too much/too little.
