Hey guys, I need a little help.

This year was hectic for us, so instead of giving each other gifts for Christmas we treated ourselves to a weekend away. We rented a lovely ocean-front hotel room with a spa and have had a wonderful time so far. As soon as we got here, the sweetest little torti cat ran up and greeted us in the parking lot. Needless to say, we've spent the weekend spoiling her[emoji]128522[/emoji]. At first I was worried about her and wondered how to bring her home with us, but after a while I realized that she has a good life and is happy as the resident hotel cat. All weekend I watched as various guests doted on her and fed her treats and I found that the owners of the hotel built her a little house under the beach access steps. However, she is clearly pregnant. I would like to leave a note on a comment card at the front desk with the name of a nearby no-kill shelter for her soon-to-be kittens and the name and number of the closest low-cost spay clinic. The hotel is in Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina, and we will be leaving around noon tomorrow. Can anyone help me find these resources? Thanks in advance if anyone is able to respond in time. *Wilmington is probably too far away for the owners to want to go.

You can find spaying places through the zip-code.  http://www.aspca.org/pet-care/general-pet-care/low-cost-spayneuter-programs

Another idea re finding homes, is the owners seek adopteers among the guests.  Say for a donation of 25-50 dollars to some nice cause.  Its also the easiest way to sort out most of the weirdos.

Its probably also possible to have the guests to put some money together for vet care and spaying of momma....  Just have a note in the reception area, and a box.
