Shes hiding a lot today, and was pretty vocal this morning which is unusual for her. Is today the day? Time will tell...

Put the birthing bkx out, and introduced her to it. Shr was nesting under the Christmas tree on the tree skirt, so since it was clean since we have a fake tree we put that in the bottom of a large box, and we cut a doorway in the box and draped a blanket over. Shes happy, and not so restless now. Still eating, but smaller amounts. Going to the bathroom well, very affectionate.

Sounds like she is getting close. I like your idea of making her a birthing box under the tree, she obviously feels safe there.

Shes back in her box now. Couldn't get comfortable. Looked like her area was swelling earlier.

That swelling was the sudden appearance of a scrotum! My 'pregnant' cat is a male cat who had worms. Hence all the pregnancy like symptoms. Took HIM back to the vet yesterday, and HE is on the road to recovery.

Oh, you're kidding!

Well, I'm glad he's doing OK.

At least your little kitty doesn't have to go through birthing kittens at such a young age after all. He's a cutie and I hope his health is better soon [emoji]128522[/emoji]

It sure is, but I must admit even though I'm a bit bummed, I'm glad hes not a young kitten having kittens. :)

Much easier to treat worms than it is to find homes for kittens. This thread gave me a good giggle. I'm glad Simon's story has a happy ending.
