I think what may of happened is that when she came into our care she was 4 months. I think she was impregnated before coming here 60 days ago. Today the 2nd of January marks 60 days thats shes lived with us, but she turned 4 months old in my care, and with us she's never been outside. I am going to see if I was given an accurate birthday for her.

Well here is the piece of info that was missing. I know the woman I got her from. Personally, and on August the 8th she was attempting to give away kittens that were 8 wks old.One of them being the girl I took in. Which places her at 6 months currently, and 4 or 5 when I took her in.

Ah, yes, I suspected she was a tad older. She will be 7 months around January 8th, and that is presumably around the same time she will bear her kittens.

No need for an ultrasound. Just wait and let Mother Nature run its course here.

The person you obtained your kitten from needs to spay and neuter her cats though. [emoji]128528[/emoji]

I totally agree. Here is a picture of both my girls. My calico is full age. So you can get an idea of her size compared to a full grown gal.

My calico was a rescue. Given to us at 5 weeks, and covered in fleas. Symiee came covered in fleas as well, but does not have them now.

As you can see, Symiee (The black one) is almost the same size as Calypso (Our calico) only a bit of a size difference.
Wouldn't there be a bigger size difference if she was really only 5 months old now?

I finally figured it out because the rest of Symiee's littermates was rehomed at a yard sale. On August the 8th, and she claimed Symiee, and her littermates were said to be already 8-9 weeks old at that time! I'd even say they were closer to 10 weeks old when we firt met though, and the math says if she was already 8-10 weeks old in August she sure wasn't born in July. Probably early June late May.

I agree! Keep us posted on her progress with her pregnancy. In my experience, calico cats tend to be small cats. [emoji]128522[/emoji]

I will for sure! It says the cat pregnancy can last from 64-70 days. We are getting close now! Shes very tired, and waddling. Loves to catch as many naps on her favorite blanket that is being turned into her birthing box. She also is walking around with her tongue out today. Maybe real soon.

Yet her nipples are still hard, tiny, nd white. I think I'm going to call a vet. I'll keep trying to add more pictures of her.

Her mammary glands may not fill with milk until she gives birth. It does sound like she's nearing the end. [emoji]128522[/emoji]

Shes also still got thick hair around her nipples still. This evening she is hiding lots. Looks smaller. Nipples closest to hind courters are pinkening with a small pink ring around them, butnas of yet are still very small. Got a great picture though.

Have you got a choice of nesting boxes set up for her? If she is hiding it might be because she is checking out the best spots to give birth.

Hope everything goes well. Fingers crossed for you.

Have you had an opportunity to take her to see a vet? You want to be sure it's not worms or something else that could be harming her, and that she truly is pregnant.

So the vet also believes there is a chance she may be pregnant. Thinks 1-3 kittens. He thinks that the reasons her nipples have stayed so petite up until now is because;
A. Her age
B. First litter
C. No milk yet, but she nearing delivery. (Do have KMR on hand as well as other supplies)

Have any of you guys had this happen? Little nipples on pregnant Queen?
