Could someone please look over my proposed whole prey item menu? :)

Hello,
I'm new to the forum and raw feeding. I have a 4 month old kitten, currently on natures menu wet, I've offered her a few mice, chicken wings and some cow heart, all of which she loved. She was growling like a little tiger with her chicken wings, so cute.[emoji]128525[/emoji]
Anyway after much umming and ahhing I've decided the whole prey item way is for me, I just wouldn't be comfortable making my own I would be too worried about messing up.
I'm a bit worried about variety, even switching between feeders it seems a bit limited compared to a cats natural diet? Is it really complete, should I supplement just incase with taurine for example? Does freezing deplete anything from the food? Would it be beneficial to swap a few meals for a complete raw diet like natures instinct for variety?
Sorry for all the questions! OK with the information I have now, I was thinking of feeding her for the week:
Day old chicks once every other day, buying a small rabbit/quail to be split for the week, with the rest of her food being made up of mice and rats. I have a beardie so she can have some bug's aswell, not sure if they contribute much to the diet but she loves chasing them :).
Thanks,
Lucy and Bonkers.

Whole prey is a great concept, but it doesn't work out that well for most owners. How much whole prey have you offered? The issue you may run into is that they don't eat the entire prey, so they aren't getting everything they need, which is why a lot of people feed some kind of modified PMR.  Making your own ground food with a supplement is really easy, it can be easier than whole prey, and less messy, of course. This is a good resource if you haven't see it already.

Hey,
Thanks for the reply. I didn't think about her leaving bits. I think if I ever went ground, I would just get a complete food. But I like the idea of at least hunks for her to get her teeth into. I'm lucky enough to work in a pet shop so I might try mice/rats for a week or two and see how she goes. :0

I've been reading about sardines and although my shop didn't do canned without oil they did do whole fresh ones. They were gutted but still had the head and bones. Bonkers loved her first one, how often should they be fed? Once a week or fortnight? I'm just trying to get as much variety as possible if I go for whole prey diet.
Thanks.
