Well she made it through the night alright with no more throwing up. Seems a lot better now thankfully. I'm thinking/hoping that she just got a little to hot and I turned the heat down for her. The roads r pretty bad right outside my house so I'm going to call a vet and see what they say just in case. What's the ratio for the homemade Pedialyte? I want to make some up just on case I need it. My male cat was acting a mess all night last night singing about the house (yes he was fixed the day after he showed up). Idk if he senses something was going on or can can smell her more or what but it was definitely NOT helping the situation any at all. She seems to feel much better this morning as she walked around a little and purred

this is mama kitty my original female cat watching some tv (she's fixed and was never a mama, but I had a dog with no name when I got her so they r now mama and papa)

this is merlin the stray I found the beginning of December. He got really big and now I feel bad for having his ear tipped. He's the one singing about the house annoying everyone.

Your pregnant cat sounds like she had a virus. It's good she's better now! She looks huge and uncomfortable and will likely try to speawl anywhere that will make her feel better.

Your male cat is gorgeous! He's sensing her hormones and the fuss in the air and telling you about it. Your orange kitty is beautiful too! She looks so sweet!

Thank u so much sarthur2. I believe she did have a stomach virus cause she seems all better now. She either lost her mucus plug yesterday evening or peep a little on the floor (it was in two smaller places within about an inch of each other and it didn't smell like cat pee). I came into the room this morning and she was in the pet taxi (I left multiple places for her to go) so I think she is going to have the babies soon!

Well, still nothing going on with her. She was a little more loving this morning 2 of the times I went in however nothing really to out of the ordinary. The babies were really making their rounds in her belly last night though and it looks like her belly is going to drop off her straight to the floor (I'm assuming she "dropped" lol). She still looks pretty miserable bit was sprawled out on the bed just now. I see no actual sign of labor yet. Hopefully soon as work starts back on Monday.

Update: so I took her today and she tested negative for lukemia, hiv and tapeworms and is now microchipped. She did very well and the vet was completely floored by how well she acted. The vet said she should be retested when she gets spayed just in case and is very excited to see her and her babies back for all of their microchiping (it's a low cost service so the rest of the shots and fixing will be done elsewhere). They said she should probably have the babies in the next couple of days. So now we r still waiting...

Omg, I think she might be in labor! I'm so excited and nervous too. She is definitely leaking out the back and do contractions look like waves going all the way down her sides? She really isn't making much noise though although earlier she was crying at the door. Really excited kinda nervous and a bit confused still. They said this is her 3rd litter (poor baby) so would it perhaps be a bit easier for her?

She's definitely restless and won't let me leave the room. I really think she keeps trying to get me to let her have them under my bed (not going to happen). Her belly is so tight it looks like a baby is going to bust out the side! Looks almost like she pushes every now and again but I read that's a contraction right?! She looks absolutely miserable :( and she keeps rubbing against me like she wants me to save her. I feel bad for her

Some aftercontractions is common.   With a little luck this is it.

How is she doing otherwise?  Taking care of the already born kitten, or is she clearly not done??

I havent read your preceding posts.

Yes, its wise.  Esp if its not varm at your place.   Btw, even some active warming may be good, alike some sort of heat pad under the towel.

So she DID delivered?  its not active not resulting labor in 3 hours?  THIS would be alarming.

Observe, if a momma although "done" doesnt take care of her already deliverd kittens, she is usually NOT done.   So either is she in distress, or there is more to deliver...

Difficult to give sure advices, you being there must take your observations and decisions.

You DO have access to vets as I understand?  Do they give advices on phone?

I think she forgot completely about number 2. Is that normal? Now all she wants is to lay on me and I put her babies on her. I'm scared for 2 that I did something wrong now but he's still alive so I guess that's a good sign

Yes, I have the number to one close. I think she might have more but she's finally calmed down and cleaning them on my lap and herself.

If necessary, you can even rub on and massage the weak one.  Being cold is often the greatest danger.   Even some stillborne can sometimes be revieved, essentielly by massaging and warming up them.

If she is now calmer, and takes care of the alredy delivered, the crisis is over for now.  She has perhaps a pause.   That is normal, as long as she isnt in no distress, pauses are allowed so to speak.    Its long active fruitless labor we dont want to see.

Such a pause may be for hours, even days...

Yes, usually the milk comes in after a while.  Its very rare its not coming in at all.

The wise owner prepares, and get some some kmr - kitten mothermilk replacement - OR goats milk, just in case.    If its not necessary, momma can get it as a supplement. :)

How to know if they kittens do need supplement feeding?  The easiest is to weight them on a scale every day.   If necessary begin with weighting every 12 hours, begin as soon as you can.    They shall add about 10+ grammes a day.   If its less, consider to supplement them...
