Welcome to TCS. I love the white based calicos. One of mine is a tortoiseshell Calico, which has little to no white on them. 
Hi! Beautiful kitten! The kitten we found in our grove is the same way. He was very affectionate at first but not as much now. I think at first because he was malnourished he needed us but now 2 visits to the vet and feeling a whole lot better he maybe doesn't need us so much. He sits in my lap when he feels like it. If he doesn't want attention he runs from us. He too bit a lot but not so much now. We've learned if he does bite to walk away. The other kitten we adopted from the humane society is totally opposite. Very affectionate...[emoji]128522[/emoji] Love them both though...good luck to you!My little fur baby has been with me since September. My boyfriend at the time found her on the side of the highway and I kept her. I've never had a cat before so I've relied on a lot of help and advice. I'm amazed at how much she has grown, but she has also gotten far less affectionate. I'm hoping it's just teenage angst. Haha. She meows and wants to follow me when ever I leave the room just isn't into being petted. Very bitey too.
