Does anyone know if a pregnant cats water can leak really slow? For couple days I've noticed her lady area is wet almost looks like she is leaking water really really slowly. She is on the smaller side for a 3 year old cat. Do not know the mating date but I do know she Is close to end of pregnancy. About a week ago she started losing plug I believe though not sure, she had what looked like clear snot like substance with small bit of blood in her litter box after using it. She has been calling out loudly nonstop for past few days and will every now and the lie on her side in what seems like discomfort and she will kick her feet like she is trying to dig them into the ground while panting and crying but then afterwards will seem fine. I havent seen any consistent contraction but I have noticed some odd things with her back that I'm thinking could be contraction but not sure her lower back will twitch three four times in a row randomly in a way that looks similar to contractions i have seen in some videos ive been watching but than will stop and not be persistent. Thanks for any advice or tips.

These twitches you observe are probably precontrations.  These can be both several days before the delivery, and immediately befoe the labor phase begins.

This with leaking water isnt the most common, but I suppose it can happen.  The kitten may be still delivered normally, but it does become more touchy, it does.

Do you have access to a vet whom is experinenced with cat obstetrics?

The problem is, with humans, if there are any visible problems, you just go ahead and take the baby out, this way or another.  but not so with cats, as kittens do manage being premature very badly, much worse than human babies...   And thus, now and then we are in uncomfortable guessing postions...

That is why I ask if your vet is experienced with cat obstetricks...

I think you should take your cat to the vet for an ultrasound to make sure all is well. Occasionally, a cat experiences dystocia, which is when contractions are too weak to birth kittens. Otherwise, if she is not in outright distress, her symptoms sound like normal pre-labor signs.

She doesn't seem to be in outright distress, more discomfort than anything. When not experiencing the symtoms she acts fairly normal aside from calling out loudly over and over a lot past day or two and will lie on me relaxing although while petting her if I get anywhere near her back end or tail she starts to hunch up again and act like she the discomfort momentarily so I'm avoiding doing that too much. Her tail will feel like it's vibrating. If she was experiencing this dystocia would she be in obvious pain or are there any other signs that might indicate it?

Sometimes a cat can be in pain from dystocia. Some of your cat's symptoms are concerning. I recommend that you see a vet for an ultrasound. Do you still see or feel kitten movement?

I think I can feel kitten movement although whenever I do it's only for a moment as the queen kinda panics and than jump off me so I thought that might have been cause she Is a first time mom and maybe she could be not a fan of the baby being touched by me? I have seen some kicks as well but not a lot. Her belly was never big compared to some pictures or other pregnant cats I have looked at so I figured she had a small litter size,

I agree that you should consult a vet. She shouldn't be protective of her babies yet as she can't anticipate them.
