Yesterday I was given a lot of food. I even got a container of litter + 2 cans of Little Friskies. I get commodities every month but this was a whole lot more. Walmart donated big time. This old lady was a dancing.

I got a raise at work!
And i had a drama free day.. That in my chaotic life is a GREAT thing!!
One of the ferals that I thought had disappeared, or that something awful had happened to, I spotted walking along the woods edge behind this house this morning!
We had temperatures above freezing and it rained, so a lot of snow and slush disappeared. 
Unfortunately, the next snow is expected tonight. :lol3:

I was able to buy some discounted gift certificates for restaurants we go to. It's an online sale and they normally sell out in five minutes.

I got a discounted Dunkin Donuts medium coffee today because the Patriots won & DD has also sent me a coupon for a free birthday coffee. Love me some free things.
I got an appointment set for 2 more girls to be spayed that are part of the "neighborhood" clan! No spring kittens for us!

Something happened yesterday that makes us hopeful that my husband will be making it through the layoffs at his company. :cross:
My SIL went to her oncologist and found out the treatments she had shrunk her cancer by 80%. She's going to a have a few more to hopefully knock it back the rest of the way. :cross:

My garage door wouldn't close this morning and I was almost late for an appointment. When I got home I got the manual out, diagnosed the problem and fixed it. 
It's over 50 degrees today, normal highs are in the 30's. I think I'll go for a walk!
I'm going to pick up the kitties that were spayed, and the vet says they are back to normal and doing fantastic!

We got another indication yesterday that my husband is most likely making it through this round of layoffs. :cross:
Good, Karen. I hope it all works out for him.
We're finally out of the teens and twenties (below 0°C), so maybe the ice that has been making side streets practically impassable since the beginning of the month will finally melt! Mogli is so thrilled that he actually spent about 15 minutes out on the balcony.

My Vet appointment went very well MAxx is fine!!!!
I found out that my drawing instructor from last semester is having another party but only for people in our program again. It was so much fun the last time and I got to meet awesome people in my program. She's helped to boost my confidence so I was thinking about asking this guy I know.
