I loved Chef Boyardee cheese ravioli and their spaghetti when I was a kid. I can't find their cheese ravioli anymore.

It was bitter cold here today and pasta is comfort food for me so that's what we had for dinner with garlic bread and salad.

Pork chops, hasselback potatoes, the last of the butternut squash volunteers from the veggie garden.

I was waiting for the leftover pasta to cool but forgot and left it out all night.
Does anyone know it it's okay to keep or should I throw it out to be safe?  If it helps it's bitter cold here and I turn the heat down to 62 degrees at night so it wasn't really exposed to much heat.

I still have two helpings of grits casserole in the freezer.  Think I'll have one of them tonight.  I have a bunch of pork chops and chicken breasts, and TONS of steamable veggies, but I'm just in the mood for plain and simple.  Or I'm lazy.  Or both.

oooohhhh, i'm not sure!  personally, i'd err on the side of caution there. i don't tend to risk food poisoning, having had it before.

pork fried rice, some mini pretzels, a few canned pear slices, and 2 or 3 vanilla sandwich cookies.

I'm with you! I feel bad wasting the pasta, it was good but don't want to take a chance getting ill.

I'd toss it. 62 is chilly, but for food, well, it's pretty warm overall. Even if it is pasta, I don't know that I'd take that chance. Sorry.

BBDOLL22, I'd take some of your supper in a heartbeat.

Probably a BOCA burger on a 100-calorie bun. And a salad. Rick will have a leftover pork chop with his potato and the squash.

I am going to marinate a pork roast and make mashed potatoes. I have some stir fried cabbage in the fridge already cooked.

Thanks, I tossed it last night.  As mickNsnicks2mom and you said, I don't want to take a chance.

Long day at work so I'm having a simple dinner tonight - scrambled eggs w/green peppers, zucchini and onions.  Since breakfast is my favorite meal I cook it for dinner sometimes too.

IF I can get a ride to the grocery store, I'm going to make colcannon.  I just have a hankering for it, for some reason.  I usually make if for New Years and didn't this year.  LOL...I actually had to tell Suzanne, my dear friend, who is an Irish Catholic from South Boston, what colcannon is!  I told her she had to turn in her shamrock!

Well, Rick and I have both been sick and I didn't bother to cook anything on Monday. I didn't eat and Rick fended for himself. Last night, I still really didn't feel like eating, but couldn't do that to Rick twice in a row. I turned the oven on to do a few strips of bacon and made three windowpanes, two for Rick and one for me.That was dinner.

Feel better... do you have any chicken broth, to sip on... there is something nasty going around. I was in church on Sunday; all you could hear were people coughing...

rest and let Rick take care of himself. You have plenty of food in the house. Be good to yourself, for a change...
