Winchester Winchester That sounds good. I love tomato soup with a toasted cheese sandwich too. I just don't get to eat it anymore as I have not found a gluten free one and I never tried to cook my own tomato soup. Maybe I need to investigate.

I think we might pull out the leftovers. There is barbecued chicken and a pork chop and black eyed peas. I have a cabbage I will stir fry to go with it.

That sounds delicious. I love yellow rice and black beans but will have to skip the hot sauce and chicken. I just went to BJ's yesterday but will pick up the ingredients on my next trip there. They have the best pies. I always spend a small fortune when I go there.

If you have a store that sells Boar's Head products, try some of their sweet slice ham on the toasted cheese sandwich. That stuff is so good.

Yes, it is! We've had several Boar's Head products and they're all really good. Right now, we still have some deli meats leftover from our New Year's Eve sandwich that we have to use: capicola, turkey breast, roast beef, and some hard salami. The turkey breast was roasted with some salsa (I can't remember the name of the turkey breast, but it's quite good). Rick's been taking it in sandwiches for his lunch; he doesn't normally take a lot of sandwiches, but we need to get it used. He is fasting right now for blood work this afternoon and he's looking forward to a good sandwich for supper tonight.
We don't eat sandwiches often and they're a real treat.

The salsalito turkey?? It is very good.  My new favorite ham from them is the peppenero garlic ham. It's a bit on the spicy side but I love it. Try a slice next time you go to the counter. The cats ADORE the low sodium chicken breast and I get them some from time to time as a treat. The people behind the deli counter know it's for them and get a chuckle out of it.

If you like provolone, their picante provolone is really good. Way more flavor than the regular provolone

That might be it!
It's delicious. I would like picante provolone; Rick would, too. Yum. We'll look for it next time we're in the grocery. Thanks!

We are also fans of the different smoked cheeses. I love smoked Gouda, smoked baby Swiss, and smoked provolone. We had an apple-smoked Gouda (from a market in Lancaster) a few months ago that was simply delicious.

The also have one called marbleu. It's a blend of monterey jack and blue cheeses. It has the flavor of the blue but slices really well due the monterey jack. It's fantastic on burgers and on roast beef sandwiches.

If you like the salsalito turkey, you should try the jerk chicken they make. It's also got a good bite. VERY good!

Beef Bolognese in the pressure cooker. It's a recipe from Comfortable Under Pressure by Meredith Lawrence. Once the beef, pork and veal (I'm using all beef) are all browned, the recipe takes about 10 minutes in the PC. I have some pumpkin crescent rolls in the freezer that we'll have with it. And a salad.

I am going to make chili. I already have some cooked rice in the freezer. We will eat it over the rice with some grated cheese.

I've got Quinoa Chili in the slow cooker.  May bake some corn meal muffins to go with it.

Once in a while or more like once every year or two I eat some chef boy ardee raviolis. Takes me back to my child hood.
