It can all change in the blink of an eye!

Just thought I would warn everyone that I won't be around in the near future because I just accepted an amazing job offer!!! Full time, benefits, 3 weeks vacation...the works!

In the past year, I have either been unemployed, underemployed, or have taken short temp assignments. Rob has been working overtime to help out and we have been under major stress. I usually 'lurked' more than posted because of this stress and didn't feel like airing my problems on the forum and being negative. But it is so hard to be a university graduate and remain unemployed for soooo long! It really hurts the spirit.

On top of job problems, we also had ongoing car problems and had to put our house renovation projects on hold. Just recently the sewer backed up in our basement and I really thought the sky was going to fall in on us!

But things drastically turned around this week and now I'm ready to get on with my life. So I won't be around for the next while, but with good reason!

I also wanted to send out a big thank you to all the angels behind the scenes who have helped me get through this past year. You really kept my spirit going when I didn't feel strong enough to believe in myself.

TCS is full of amazing & kind hearted spirits. I'm so fortunate to have met such an amazing group of people!

I never doubted for a moment that someone out there would recognize you as a true quality individual and hire you for that perfect job. I am so glad this worked out so well for you, and I will miss you and the Nakita hits you usually leave on the board. I commend you for not giving up and giving into the despair and I am grateful that I have met you even on a bulletin board. BTW I have been trying out those recipes you sent- your chicken and bow-tie pasta is the best!

Isn't it great to finally get a full time job? I know how you feel, I just had the same thing happen but about a month ago so I just started my new job last week. Congrats again! Maybe things are finally turning around for you. Good luck in your new job!

It makes me so happy when i hear of others good fortunes, especially when they've had it rough for a while.

I always remember(wish i could remember who it was)when someone on the site was having a bad time, and someone(again, i can't remember!)posted a reply saying'Wait 3 days'. How true i found those words to be!!
