Hey all!
I'm new to this forum. I'm also a new cat owner. I've always loved cats, but this year has been the first time I've ever been able to adopt one.
This is River:
He's a two year old domestic short-haired tabby. I adopted him off my friend this October and he's been living with me since. He's mostly timid and hates being picked up, but will spend some time in the morning purring on your chest before you get up in the morning and licking your neck.
His favourite way to chill is to sit on windowsills, he prefers drinking from the tap and he barely plays with any of his toys or climbs his cat tree.
As for me I'm currently a undergraduate masters student at Newcastle University, as well as a feminist, social activist, fillmaker, TV & radio producer and comedian.
